What Prayer Does
Prayer invites God's presence, renews emotional strength, activates supernatural healing, comfort the sick and weary soul, and it builds a supernatural shield of faith, activating God's Holy protection.
How to Begin Your Prayers
Pray to God the Father, through the Lord Jesus Christ through the power and grace of the Holy Spirit
Jesus Christ, being the Son of God, is our intercessor - He advocates on our behalf before God. It is because of Jesus' act of ultimate love and sacrifice on the cross that we are able to have access to God, as it is due to this power and His resurrection that the veil was torn, symbolizing the veil in God's Tabernacle (Old Testament) and Temple (New Testament) that, before Jesus, was a physical barrier between the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place (Holy of Holies), where the Ark of the Covenant was kept. This separation emphasized God's holiness and the need for reverence, due to human sinfulness. Jesus' death and resurrection tore the veil the moment He was resurrected, paying for our sins and forever redeeming us and sanctifying those who believe in Him and The Gospel.
